Bitcoin surpasses $35,000, first time since May 2022
World's biggest cryptocurrency Bitcoin grew by 16.08 per cent to $35,141, according to data from the Coindesk platform.
As of 02:31 GMT time , the price of Bitcoin decreased and reached $34,721 (+14.76%).
The last time the price of Bitcoin exceeded $35,000 was May 7, 2022.
Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency invented in 2008 by an unknown person or group of people using the name Satoshi Nakamoto. It is a decentralized digital currency without a central bank or single administrator that can be sent from user to user on the peer-to-peer bitcoin network without intermediaries.
