Russian government cancels summer grade diesel fuel export ban
The Russian government resolved to abolish the ban on summer grade diesel fuel exports, the Ministry of Energy said.
"The government of the Russian Federation made the decision to lift the temporary ban on summer grade diesel fuel exports, introduced on September 21 as part of a package of measures to stabilize the price situation in the domestic engine fuel market," the ministry informed.
The domestic market has been saturated during two prior months with marketable diesel fuel of all grades and motor gasoline, the ministry added.
