European stocks slip at open
Europe's major stock markets fell at the open Tuesday as investors track new political landscapes in France and Britain and look ahead to testimony from Federal Reserve chief Jerome Powell.
London's FTSE 100 index fell 0.2% to 8,177.71 points.
In the eurozone, the Paris CAC 40 index dropped 0.4% to 7,594.16 points and Frankfurt's DAX shed 0.5% to 18,379.03.
